Financial Security Advisor
My favourite part of being a financial security advisor is working with people daily. I’ve always had a passion for helping others, and I enjoy seeing the positive effect having a financial security plan has on my clients financial health, and other areas of their lives.
After completing a Bachelors degree at the University of Winnipeg in 2015, I began working as a Case Manager at Manulife. In 2017, I obtained my life license and began my career as a Financial Security Advisor with Freedom 55 Financial.
Currently, I’m working towards my Certified Financial Planner designation. I successfully completed my Canadian Investment Funds course, and I can offer mutual funds through Quadrus Investment Services Ltd.
While I primarily work with people in their 20s and 30s, who are just getting started in their careers, as well young couples and families who are interested in starting a financial security plan. That being said, I also work with clients who are close to retirement or retired. A solid financial security plan can help make a difference in a client’s life no matter the life stage they’re at.
Each of my clients gets the same level of attention and care from me. After we’ve met and discussed a plan, I provide a thorough, written version that explains why we made the choices outlined in the plan. I help clients prioritize their goals so we can get started on their most immediate concerns, as well as decide how and when we’ll tackle their other goals.
When I’m not working, I enjoy being around my family and friends. I have two brothers and two sisters, and we’re all very close. I also enjoy playing soccer and softball, basketball, trying new restaurants, camping and going to the lake on the weekends. When I get the chance, I like to travel to different parts of the world.
